Hello wonderful TPN Members,
During these times of uncertainty, where leaders are needed the most in the world and in our field, TPN’s Executive Committee is proud to present to you a new benefit for our members. Presenting: the Leadership Development Program (LDP).
The program is open to graduate students and professionals at all levels. The only criteria is that participants must be a current member of TPN, aiming to grow in their leadership skills. This program will last from June 2020 to June 2021. Features of LDP include:
1) Attending bi-monthly meetings with the Professional Development Officer and LDP cohort to develop leadership skills. We will be providing training from the field of leadership development in consulting psychology.
2) Being partnered with a mentor within TPN on a professional topic of your choice.
3) Collaborating on a project with a TPN Executive Committee member, to gain hands on leadership experience, and also to contribute to TPN.
Interested applicants can complete the application in the linked document above (also attached), and send it to yours truly, at icghung@gmail.com by Monday, May 18, 5pm, Pacific Time.
Please spread the word, and also nominate colleagues, mentees, and peers to be part of the first LDP cohort! We hope to offer this program consistently in the years to come, and look forward to this first pilot program that will pave the way for future cohorts.
